Hyde Family

I had the privilege of getting to spend Memorial Day with this amazing family.   From picking berries for our homemade cobbler to shooting skeet - they know how to have fun.  Here are some of my favorites from our session on location at their home.  Thanks again for having us Hyde family!

Life is funny!

As most of you know, I spend a large portion of this time of the year doing fundraiser mini sessions for incredible organizations like MOPS from FUMC Richardson, Firewheel Moms, Incarnation Academy, and the North Dallas Mothers of Twins Club.  With most of these fundraisers, we pack as many families as we can into one day with very little break time.  It is fast, crazy, and honestly, I love it.  Now editing ALL those images later is another story!!  ; ) I love how these sessions keep me on my toes and we usually end up with some great images.

A couple of weeks ago I was doing one of these fundraisers, and while I was working with one family, I noticed another family in the park who were looking for their photographer - not me.  They were still there as I worked with another family, and another, and still their photographer had not shown.  I could tell the mom was getting frustrated, and you could tell she had spent a lot of time shopping for adorable outfits for her 3 beautiful kids.  Well, life it funny sometimes, and  unfortunately I had a few families who had to cancel.  At the risk of sounding like crazy people, Brittainy and I decided we need to see if we could help them out and do some photos for them.   I was so happy I ran into this sweet family, and I hope I have a client for life!

Precious Smith Family

I have the privilege of working with this precious family usually twice a year.  Mom always wants to get pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes-which is always so fun!  The 2 youngest kiddos and their parents are all hearing impaired, which makes my job a little more challenging.  Instead of saying "smile" or "telling" them where I want them to move in a pose, I actually have to position them and sometime I jump up and down  to get the little one's attention.  Thankfully, not too many pictures are blurry!  I am so thankful that this family has chosen me to be their photographer.  They are definitely a blessing to work with!

If your child has special needs, vision, or hearing impairments, please don't hesitate to get their photo taken.  If you've struggled with this in the past, maybe you haven't found the right photographer yet, and I would love to have the opportunity to work with your family!

NDMOTC Bluebonnets

It was so fun getting to work with these families of mulitples -many twins, and even some triplets!  Most of them were little ones, and we even had some 1 month old twins!  Once again, too many to post, but here are a few.  Thanks for trusting me with your babies.  I am looking forward to working with you all in the future!

MOPS

I am so thankful for this group!  They took a chance on me many years ago when I was first starting out as a photographer.  I'm sorry I can't post a picture from each of the sessions because we had so many families, but here are a few.  Thank you for allowing me to work with your families all these years!  It is such a blessing to see you all every Fall & Spring!

Firewheel Moms Bluebonnets

It's always so much fun working with these families.  I've been doing pictures for several of the families for many years now.  I love getting to watch the kids grow up and seeing new babies! It was great to see a few new families this year, and even a few people who just happened by the bluebonnet field! Thanks for trusting me to do your family photos!

Talented Senior Boy

It was so great getting to work with this talented guy.  His mom had some great ideas for shooting at UT Arlington, and we got some great shots!  Here are some of my favorites:
